The Coolmation Groups chiller hire division, Chillers4Hire is seeing a marked increase in its business this year resulting from the earlier implementation of a growth strategy which included the appointment of two new business development managers.
Stephen Busette joined the company earlier in the year as Business Development Manager for London and the Home Counties having been previously employed in a similar position with Aggreko.
More recently, Lee Knapper has joined the team as business development manager covering the South West of England. Like Stephen, Lee has worked in the chiller and air conditioning hire business for a number of years, with both Andrews Sykes and Aggreko.
Both are keen to comment on the benefit of being employed in a specialist chiller hire environment which can provide a full range of chiller support services, as opposed to a general plant hire company which may have limited solutions ability.
Coolmations chiller fleet has seen some significant expansion with the introduction of a number of purpose built 500kW chillers, which have the benefit of a much smaller footprint than a standard one. These have been designed and manufactured for Coolmation by Rhoss spa, in Italy, and are already highly utilised in built up areas where space for temporary plant is at a premium.
Divisional Director Karl Kilford expresses with some confidence that “our chiller hire division is expanding according to plan and as result of our unique ability to give clients specialised solutions to their increasingly challenging needs. These are much to do with R22 chiller replacement projects and underperforming installed plants and in these situations we can bring to the client the full range of Coolmation Group specialist services.”
